Grenade Launcher: Difference between revisions

The '''Grenade Launcher''' is a weapon that appears in [[GTA IV Episodes|Grand Theft Auto IV's episodes]], [[The Lost and Damned]] and [[The Ballad of Gay Tony]]. The grenade launcher basically launches [[Grenades]], and is about as effective as a [[Pipe Bomb|pipe bomb]], but has further range. It is best for removing cover, such as a car, however, the grenade does not land in a particular spot, making it less accurate. This is a very powerful weapon, but it is unpredictable and you can accidentally fire a shell at your feet and not notice until you die. Unlike the [[Rocket Launcher]], the cartridge does not explode on impact. A 7 or so second fuse is what detonates the cartridge. While not accurate in most respects, this will kill enemies, blow up cars, and remove the rotor from helicopters. The Grenade Launcher is however, more versatile than the [[Rocket Launcher]], and is excellent at taking care of large groups of enemies in hard to reach places.  

The grenade launcher is the only weapon from The Lost and Damned to be available in [[The Ballad of Gay Tony]]. It features an interesting improvement in which it explodes on impact instead of waiting several seconds before it explodes. Also the time it takes for the grenade to explode has been shortened to about 4 seconds.
