Not withstanding some tedious racing or checkpoint missions, "Death Row" is perhaps the most difficult mission in the whole game as it requires skills in all areas. It is tempting to kill the Diaz gangsters as they have excellent money drops, however don't lose sight of your objective since the clock will run out, plus it isn't worth it since they are shooting at you from hard-to-reach places. Get towards the shed as quickly as possible (indicated by the yellow marker), take out the guards there, and free [[Lance Vance|Lance]]. There is a [[Sentinel]] parked outside and drive through the back of the junkyard to avoid Diaz's men in speedy Comets and get to the [[Schuman Health Care Center]]. | |||

A motorcycle (preferably a Freeway for the ruggedness and speed) is effective at quickly getting to Lance's shed (once you've eliminated the barricade, ignore the others in the junkyard) and it is fast enough to outrun the Comets; however if a tire gets punctured or if the motorcycle gets knocked down, you'll have to restart the mission.
