:The problem is that Wikia is a gets a lot of traffic, and a lot of people link to Wikia, so Google assumes that it is one of the best sites for everything and ranks it highly. Here in Australia, even searching for "Grand Theft Wiki" shows Wikia's site as the top result. The best thing that we can do to improve our ranking is to get a lot of people to link to GTW, such as in their signature on forum sites, on any social media sites, etc. EDIT: Reading your question again, you're asking how it affects us rather than why it's like that. It just means that a lot of people still go to the Wikia site, because they don't even know that we exist. Even returning users don't realise that we moved, because the new staff of that wiki covered it up. That's why it's important to spread the word about GTW, by linking to us wherever you can (not spam though, legitimate links, such as forum signatures) and telling your friends about us! ::In our (GTA Wikia's current staff) defense, we went back on our decision to help Wikia cover up the move and did as much as we could to clear the air instead.  The problem is that we couldn't really do anything besides restore the discussion pages you guys had about the decision to move and create a page with a neutrally-worded synopsis of the issue.  But that's about all we can do - if we got more lenient Wikia would very likely step in and demote the current staff, and possibly replace us with someone who would help cover things up and set things back to the way they were just after the split. <b>Jeff</b> (talk this way) / (stalk this way) 00:08, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
