Talk:San Andreas Earthquake

How do we know that this is the cause of the bridges being closed and how do we know that it happened a few month before the game? OekelWm 15:00, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

Well the broken bridge in San Fierro is clearly earthquake damage, and of course San Francisco is well-known for its earthquakes. And indeed, San Andreas itself is named after a fault. I'm not sure if the earthquake is mentioned on the radio stations though... Gboyers talk 19:20, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Good question OekelWm, it's been a while since I played the game and I'm pretty sure a recent earthquake was mentioned at some point, but I don't recall any time frame, nor do I recall it being specifically stated that the earthquake is the reason the bridges are out, it's just assumed so. I rephrased the article a bit, pending some kind of reference to make it more specific. --MattyDienhoff 08:31, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

I was listening to the radio after the mission when I unlocked flint county and someone said on the news on WCTR "the bridge linking red county and flinty county has finally been reconstructed today today after the damage the EARTHQUAKE caused." does this awnser your question? It has been mentioned in the article since then.--Spaceeinstein 18:10, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
