The Los Santos Police Department (LSPD) is a police force in Grand Theft Auto V, responsible for policing the city of Los Santos. The LSPD is based on the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD)
Overview
Very little information is currently known about the LSPD, other than the design of their police cars, which feature their motto, "Obey and Survive", and that female police officers are included in the game. It is unknown if female police officers will pursue the player in general gameplay, or if they are only present in particular missions, as some features shown in GTA IV's trailers were only available in particular missions.

Currently, the only known vehicles in use by the LSPD are the Police Cruiser and a the Police Maverick, it is not yet known if the LSPD drives any other type of police car. (i.e. The Police Patrol)
