Landstalker in Liberty City Stories

The Landstalker is an SUV that is available on all of the Grand Theft Auto III era games, as well as Grand Theft Auto IV. It is likely based on the Ford Explorer. In the games, it is probably the best SUV available, because of its balance of good top speed, handling and acceleration. It has room for four people, making it ideal for gang drive-bys in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

It has also recently appeared on Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. This version features a longer back compartment than the other renditions (similar to a 1998 Ford Expedition), but retains a similar wheelbase. Throughout its appearance, gamers have cited the vehicle as being notoriously unstable with its high center of gravity, and susceptibility to rollovers.
