Doesn't this mission unlock mainland Vice City? It's been years since I played GTAVC, but I thought this was the point where the entire city was unlocked. If not, which mission does? Gboyers talk 01:48, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

I think you're right, I'm pretty sure it's this mission. --MattyDienhoff 02:55, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
It's been forever since I've actually played, but my old strategy guide says the mission Phnom Penh '86 "opens the last of Colonel Cortez's missions and removes the roadblocks to the mainland." --GuildKnightTalk2me 00:37, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
I concur with User:GuildKnight. I just played it not too long ago, and from what I recall, the mainland is opened after the mission Phnom Penh '86. This is why the roadblocks are already cleared when performing this mission (Sir, Yes Sir!), which involves driving to mainland Vice City to steal the tank. EganioTalk 03:35, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Yes, you're right. I also played the mission through again just today, and sure enough the bridges are cleared immediately after Phnom Penh '86. --MattyDienhoff 08:28, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
