Army
The Army (specifically the United States Army or the United States National Guard) are the highest level of law enforcement in GTA III Era games. When the player obtains a six-star Wanted Level, tanks, Barracks OLs and Patriots will chase the player and terminate him. The Army vehicles are generally durable, but easy to avoid confronting. The soldiers themselves are always well armed with weapons that will often make short work of the player and most vehicles. Members of the Army behave as a gang and will attack the player if spotted on military territory, unless in a Cop uniform.
There is an Army base in most of the GTA III Era games, such as Fort Baxter Air Base in Vice City, and Easter Basin Naval Station and Area 69 in San Andreas. From there, military vehicles like Hunter, Barracks or Rhino are available to be stolen, although protected by high obtained wanted level, well-armed army personal or even by SAM sites.
