Axl Rose

W. Axl Rose (born William Bruce Rose, Jr. on February 6, 1962; raised as William Bruce Bailey) is a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-nominated American lead singer and pianist for Guns N' Roses who provided the voice of Tommy Smith on the in-game radio station K-DST in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

The recording of the DJ tracks for K-DST was Rose's first recorded vocal work in several years since the disbanding of the original lineup of Guns N' Roses (aside from swapping drummers and adding a keyboardist). Since then, Rose has returned with a mostly-new lineup of Guns N' Roses and achieved minimal success whilst former bandmates have gone on to higher success with Velvet Revolver and Slash in his solo work. In 2012, the original Guns N' Roses lineup through the 1990s (both drummers included) were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, but Rose declined his induction.
