Barbara Schternvart
Barbara Schternvart is a police officer who lives in El Quebrados and can become one of Carl Johnson's girlfriends. She can be found outside the El Quebrados Police Station and prefers Carl to be fat, although this is not necessary if all the Oysters have been collected. Players can take her out on dates between 00:00 and 04:00. [Verification Needed]
Whilst dating Barbara, Carl does not lose his weapons after being Busted. When their relationship reaches 50%, Carl gains access to her Ranger, and at 100%, a police uniform is delivered to Carl's wardrobe. She will ask Carl in for 'coffee' when their relationship reaches 60%.
Driving date
Whilst on a driving date, Barbara prefers Carl to drive at roughly the same speed as regular traffic. So not too fast, not too slow.
Food date
Whilst on a food date, Barbara prefers to go to diners. The closest diner is the one just southeast of where Barbara lives, marked by a pink drink icon.
Dancing date
The closest Dance club, marked with a Music Record, is the one in Las Venturas.

Trivia
- Barbara has two children, who are unseen in game, and she claims "that she used to be married to a real bastard", which would explain why Barbara is possible to date. However, another quote, "My husband is a control freak", suggests that she is dating CJ secretely. It is currently unknown what her marital status really is.
- Barbara's Ranger's license plate reads CUFFS.
- Strangely, Barbara seems to work and live at the police station, in El Quebrados.
- If the player activates the "pedestrian riot" cheat before dating her, she will attack the player even after the cheat is disabled, making her unvailable.
