Because the Brown Streak is a passenger train, it can either be driven (jacked) by the player, or ridden as a passenger by entering through one of the numerous passenger entrances on the rear cars.  When riding as a passenger, the player may de-train at any stop (or during travel, if so desired).

The Brown Streak is a fully interactive train featured on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. It is only available in a gray color.

For the train Rockstar has made some realistic effects; particulairly the ability to derail it when the speed is too intense for the train to handle: the train begins to shake above 47 MPH, and derails soon thereafter, depending on the orientation of the train (the train is capable of higher speeds when traveling in reverse vs. when traveling forward). Except for the derailment issue, the train is BP/FP/EP/DP.

There are no 1st/3rd person views when driving or travelling in the train, and the cinematic view mode is the only view available. However, some Trainers can offer different viewpoints.

Because the Brown Streak is a passenger train, it can either be driven (jacked) by the player, or ridden as a passenger by entering through one of the numerous passenger entrances on the rear cars. When riding as a passenger, the player may de-train at any stop (or during travel, if so desired).

It bears a striking resemblance to EMD's F40PH. It is possible to stow away in a car, for free travel.
