Catalyst is a second mission of helping Ryder. It appears after Home Invasion.
Plot
The mission begins with CJ going to Ryder, who made his own water after he couldn't find it in his backyard. Just then, Officer Tenpenny and his accomplices came to tell the two that there is a train that has weapons on it.
Ryder and CJ get to the train only to find the Los Santos Vagos trying to steal the train first. After the Vagos are killed by CJ, the Ballas try to get the train. After protecting the train, CJ throws boxes at Ryder. After aquiring the boxes, the two were pursued by the police, but the two manage to escape and make it back to Ryder's house.
