Supporting Characters are those that do not play a large role in the GTA games but do have an impact on the storyline. For example, [[Earnest Kelly]] in GTA Vice City gave the protagonist (Tommy Vercetti) missions but was not a key character throughout the game. His role, however, becomes particularly important when Tommy attempts to give [[Sonny Forelli]] counterfeit money, provided by Kelly.
