Cletus Ewing is a character in the HD Universe who appears as a Strangers and Freaks character in Grand Theft Auto V. He is voiced by Ian Scott McGregor.
Character history
Cletus Ewing, in 2013 owns a house on Marina Dr in Sandy Shores, Blaine County and is possibly a former member of the US military. He earns a living by hunting the animals around Blaine County and selling the meat to hipsters in nearby Los Santos. He has an unnamed partner and owns a Dune Buggy. He is friends with Trevor Philips (who describes him as a 'halfwit'), Ron Jakowski and Wade Hebert.
In late 2013. he meets Trevor and has him shoot three satellite dishes before they visit the abandoned motel in Sandy Shores, where he has Trevor shoot three tires on moving vehicles on the freeway and then three coyotes. The two then go their separate ways, but Cletus phones Trevor and the two meet near a lodge in Paleto Forest. There he teaches Trevor how to hunt, in particular elk, with Trevor shooting three elk. He later tells Trevor that he can earn money by helping him hunt animals, and will send Trevor text messages about the quality of the corpse.
