Cognoscenti
The Cognoscenti is a luxury sedan exclusive to Grand Theft Auto IV. It is based on the Maybach 62 whilst the whole body, two tone paint, resembles a Maybach 62 S sedan, while the front is reminiscent of a Bentley Continental GT or Flying Spur. The vehicle is manufactured by Enus. Cognoscenti does not seem to have an exact translation into Italian, the language Cognoscenti derives from, but the word seems to mean a connoisseur or lover of expensive items.
The Cognoscenti is one of the larger cars in the game, with an exceptionally long body for a sedan. The weight and length of the car make it more of a vanity vehicle than one that can be used reliably for missions; its speed and handling are lower than other sedans found throughout the city. However, it has a powerful engine and rear wheel drive, so slides and oversteer can be achieved. Because of its size, the police will designate it as a limousine should you commit a crime while in the car.
Stevie will ask you to steal a Cognoscenti parked in Alderney City. While doing James Pegorino's missions two will occasionally spawn: one outside of his mansion and another inside the garage.
A pearl white painted Cognoscenti can be stolen outside Gracie Ancelotti's home after you complete here random character mission. Sometimes when you imput the cheat to spawn a Cognoscenti, a pearl white one will appear.
