First Base is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas given to protagonist Carl Johnson by Catalina from her hideout in Fern Ridge, Red County, San Andreas. It is unlocked by the mission King in Exile and any one of the four robbery missions given by Catalina.

Mission

Catalina wanted Carl to return to her hideout to finish up robbing Red County. Carl heads up to her place to apologize for not treating her right and Catalina professes her love to Carl. This mission unlocks three out of a possible of four robbery missions given by Catalina, which are all but the one the player chose after First Date.

Script

Carl Johnson: Hey Catalina, baby. It's me, Carl Johnson. Hey baby, I'm sorry we got off on the wrong foot. I've had a rough time, baby. You know, maybe I was a little harsh. Please forgive me. C'mon, baby! Open up the door - shit. Is she here? I don't see nothing. C'mon, baby, don't be mad, baby please! Baby, without you, there is no Carl Johnson. Damn, man, shit. Now where is this stupid bitch?

Catalina: Here, cabron. Who's the bitch now, eh?

Carl Johnson: Oh baby, baby, I'm so sorry, baby.

Catalina: What was that?

Carl Johnson: You so right! Please forgive me, baby. Just don't fucking shoot me! Please!

Catalina: You think you sorry, huh? How you going to prove you're sorry?

Carl Johnson: C'mon now, baby, c'mon. I am going to play with you SO rough, baby.

Catalina: Keep talking!

Carl Johnson: And I'll take you to rob banks and shit.

Catalina: Ohhh?

Carl Johnson: I'll let you kill anyone you want to kill.

Catalina: Hm-hmm?

Carl Johnson: I am going to treat you right, baby. Just... c'mon...just please don't shoot me.

Catalina: Carl, I think I love you.

Carl Johnson: Err...shit, that's great. Cool! Yeah, fantastic! All that! You wanna go rob some shit, baby?

Catalina: Hm-hmm, ha ha! Hm-hmm.
