Forums GTA GTA Canons?

From Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories to GTA III, and everything in between, is canon. I'm not sure, and correct if I'm wrong but GTA1 and GTA2 are not canon. Is GTA London 1961 and GTA London 1969 canon with each other? The protagonists are the same so could anyone tell me if that's right?

Also, El Burro appears in GTA1 and GTAIII right? But there is no connection, no?

GTA London, 1961 and GTA London, 1969 are the same game. The only difference between the two is the name and the year the game is set (London 1961 set in 1961 and London 1969 set in 1969). It is the same El Burro but there is no canon between his GTA 1 and GTA III appearances.
The only problem is determining whether the three pre-GTA III games are canon with each other. There is nothing to suggest that they are, but then again there is nothing to suggest that they aren't. Rockstar Games would have to state whether they are, and that is unlikely nine years after GTA 2's release. A-Dust 15:41, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

They follow the same story, although there are some missions in London 1961 that aren't in London 1969. This is because London 1961 was released after London 1969, allowing for more to be added. A-Dust 16:05, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
