Frenchie Cockmaven is a character from the Grand Theft Auto series who is a report for Liberty Tree seen on the manual of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.

Frenchie Cockmaven is a reporter for the Liberty Tree newspaper and reports that Liberty City is the worst place to live in the United States and that it was the eigth time in twelve years Liberty City had received that accolade. Frenchie Cockmaven names the six out of seven categories that Liberty City came top in. Those being that Liberty City is the place most likely to get: "mugged or robbed, die of diseases caused by pollution, be exposed to lethal amounts of radiation, become an alcoholic or drug addict and get accidental gender re-alignment or marry a relative". His report also contains a defence for Liberty City, and states that Mayor Roger C. Hole was not available for comment.
