Giorgio Forelli
Giorgio Forelli is a character from the Grand Theft Auto series who is mentioned in both Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. Giorgio is a member of the Forelli Family. His name in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is spelt Georgio, on the official website [1], but is spelt Giorgio in both Vice City and Vice City Stories dialogue. Giorgio is the cousin of Sonny Forelli, who featured as the main antagonist of in Vice City and is also a cross dresser.
Giorgio, by 1984, had become a loan shark; loaning Barry Mickelthwaite over two million dollars. Giorgio demands that Barry return his money, and sends hitmen to kill both Barry and Phil Collins, although the hitmen were killed by Victor Vance. By 1986 Giorgio has been put on trial for fraud. The Vice City Police Department believe that a conviction is a cert, although Ken Rosenberg (Giorgio's lawyer) has Tommy Vercetti intimidate the prosecutions lawyers. The case against Giorgio is later dropped. Some fans speculate that Giorgio was the target of a Leone Family hit during the mission Saint Mark's Bistro in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, in which Carl Johnson killed a leading Forelli Family gang member. However, there is no evidence to suggest that this was Giorgio.
