Just for clarification, the article states:

In the Grand Theft Auto universe, the events that are considered to be canon, or to have officially happened, are only those in the games' main storylines (GTA 1 to GTA IV) and cutscenes (including The Introduction).

Does this mean that information from other official sources (such as Rockstar's advertisement websites like The Liberty Tree), is not to be considered canon? --MattyDienhoff 08:16, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Good question - thanks for bringing it up. Although teaser sites are official sources, they aren't as important as the games (in terms of content). You could imagine George Lucas contradicting Star Wars canon through other mediums, such as interviews or appearances at conventions or whatever. I think games count as absolute canon, then the websites are secondary sources. Also, remember that the websites are satirical and humorous, rather than direct reports of "real" in-game events. Bear that in mind and it should be fine. If there's ever a contradiction, the latest game takes priority. What do you think about that? Gboyers talk 16:29, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
Sounds logical to me, thanks. :) --MattyDienhoff 17:05, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
