Gurning Chimps

The Gurning Chimps were an Indie band based in Salford, Manchester.

In the early 1990s Kent Paul suggested that the band travel to the USA. Maccer was thrilled at this prospect and their career as musicians took off. In 1992 the band joined The Truth for a peyote trip in the desert near Las Venturas. The band had sexual relations with some local snake farmers, and then became separated. The Truth woke up the next day in a massage parlor in Los Santos, while Maccer and Kent Paul woke up somewhere in the desert. The location of the rest of the band during this time is unknown. The Truth hired Carl Johnson to find the Chimps. Carl only managed to find Maccer and Kent Paul. While searching for the rest of the band, they ran into the snake farmers they had met the night before. The farmers were angry that one (or all) of the band members had infected a female farmer with a STD. The farmers then chased Carl, Kent Paul, and Maccer, all the way to Caligula's Casino in Las Venturas. The rest of the band was found 5 months later, though, according to Maccers website, they were "on a break".
