This page documents Help for users on Grand Theft Wiki. |
A log records each instance of a certain type of action executed on Grand Theft Wiki, such as a file upload or a new user being created.
To access Grand Theft Wiki's logs, go to Special:Logs. The page allows you to select which log to read, and select more specific parameters within your chosen log.
Some logs list actions which only can be performed by a member of staff, such as deleting pages, blocking users and altering user rights.
- Recent Edits is a special type of log showing edits to pages. See Help:Recent Edits.
Types of Logs
These are the public logs on Grand Theft Wiki
- Avatar Upload - This log tracks actions involving the upload of an avatar, this Log bears actions which can be performed by anyone.
- Block - This log tracks actions involving the blockage of users, this log bears actions which can be performed by a member of staff only.
- Deletion - This log tracks actions involving the deletion of pages or files, this log bears actions which can be performed by a member of staff only.
- Global Account - This log tracks actions involving the deletion, locks or unlocks of a user's Global Account, this log bears actions which can be performed by anyone.
- Global Rights - This log tracks actions involving alterations of permissions of certain global groups, this log bears actions which can be perfomed by a member of staff only.
- Imports - This log tracks actions involving imports of pages with edit history from other wikis, this log bears actions which can be performed by a member of staff only.
- Interwiki Table - This log tracks actions involving changes to the interwiki table, this log bears actions which can be performed by a member of staff only.
- Merge - This log tracks actions involving merges of one page history into another, this log bears actions which can be performed by a member of staff only.
- Move - This log tracks actions involving page moves, this log bears actions which can be performed by a member of staff only.
