East Beach is a strong hold for the Los Santos Vagos gang, and they come into conflict with [[Grove Street Families]] gang members on the border to [[Playa del Seville]]. However, control of the area is rarely challenged. [[Carl Johnson]] and [[Ryder]], during the mission [[Home Invasion]], enter Colonel Fuhrberger's house and steal weaponry and ammunition. They then load up boxes of weaponry into a [[Boxville|van]] and take up to [[LB|LB's]] lockup. East Beach, depending on the player's choice, can be a [[Grove Street Families]] controlled district.
The Ingot is a station wagon which outwardly resembles the [[wp:Nissan Stagea|Nissan Stagea]] WC34 (note the taillights and the side profile); being manufactured by [[Vulcar]], however, may suggest it is supposed to emulate a [[wp:Volkswagen Passat|Volkswagen Passat]] Mk4. Its engine noise is high-pitched, reminiscent of Volkwagen's trademark VR5 and VR6 engines, as seen in the fourth-generation VW Jetta; both have less than 200 horsepower. The Ingot is not as performance-oriented as the Stagea, despite sporting racing pedals and a racing steering wheel. In V, it appears largely unaltered except sporting two-tone colors now.

The Ingot has a low-powered V5 or V6 engine, coupled to a 4 speed gearbox in RWD(FWD in V) figuration.  The Ingot isn't very fast; after finding 4th gear, the car hesitates or doesn't upshift at all when on wide-open throttle.  Its engine is not resilient, and may stop working after only a few crashes. The Ingot does, however, have decent handling, and its suspension is not too hard or too soft, making it perfect for regular street driving in Liberty City. Its top speed is 135 km/h (84 mph).

East Beach is a district on the north-east coast of the city of Los Santos, and is controlled by the Los Santos Vagos. This district is based on the Long Beach suburb of Los Angeles. The only known resident of East Beach is Colonel Fuhrberger.
