JoBuilt is a commercial truck and aircraft manufacturer in the HD Universe. The heavy truck division appears to be based on real-life truck manufacturer Peterbilt; the Jobuilt logo resembles the Peterbilt logo, and their Phantom is based on a Peterbilt design. The company name is a play on the name of Peterbilt, "Jobuilt" meaning "built by Joe" as opposed to Peterbilt meaning "built by Peter".

JoBuilt were first introduced in Grand Theft Auto IV as the manufacturer of the Phantom articulated lorry. Their portfolio was expanded in GTA V to include two light aeroplanes and more commercial lorries.

Trivia

In GTA IV's audio files, the name is misspelled "Joebuilt".^[1]This may have been the name of the company in prerelease builds of the game.
