Kanbu is a character from the Grand Theft Auto series who appears in Grand Theft Auto III as a minor character.

Kanbu is an associate of the Yakuza leader Kenji Kasen, who has been arrested, the crime committed is unknown. Kanbu is a high ranking member of the Yakuza, and is set to go on trial. Kenji Kasen employs Claude (in the mission Kanbu Bust-Out) to break Kanbu out of the Liberty City Police Department jail on Staunton Island, which he does successfully. Claude delivers Kanbu to the Hiyaku Dojo in Bedford Point, Staunton Island.
