The Liberty City Warriors are Liberty City's basketball team circa 2008. Katt Williams, one of the acts who performs at Split Sides, a bar in Algonquin, said that one player on the team did all the work and the others were just running up and down the court. Nothing much else is known about them. They're possible rivals with the Liberty City Penetrators, the other pro basketball team in GTA IV Era Liberty City.

The team name could be a possible reference or ode to the previous Rockstar Games game The Warriors, based on the 1979 film of the same name.

There's a real life basketball team named the Golden State Warriors, who play in San Francisco.
