Description
The website is a sting site set up by the Liberty City Police Department to catch people trying to access child pornography, and it is spoken of on Weazel News. When the player visits the site, they find a warning message from LCPD saying that their IP address has been logged and "WE SEE IT ALL, WE KNOW IT ALL". Upon leaving the internet cafe or exiting the browser, the player automatically receives a five star wanted level for attempting to view child pornography; this also indicates that the LCPD has a very low and lethal tolerance towards pedophiles. The police radio can be heard as the player accesses the website or leaves the browser; the dispatcher describes the player as a "sexual deviant attempting to access explicit images."
Like the LCPD website and unlike other in-game websites, littlelacysurprisepageant.com has a generic site description, simply stating "Website for child beauty pageants," underneath its URL on the LuckyFind search page whereas other websites have slogans associated with the site's products and services.
The website's address is a reference to the children's underwear manufacturer Little Lacy Surprise heard advertised in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories.
Glitch
There is a delay before the player actually gains the five star wanted level. If the player accesses the site from a TW@ internet cafe, exits the browser immediately (while the police scanner goes off), and commits a one star level crime (robbing the cash register, discharging any firearm, etc.), the player only receives a one star level instead of the lethal five stars.
Trivia
- This site is a easy way to get the One Man Army achievement/trophy. It is recommended that you do this at either Playboy X's Penthouse or the Middle Park East Safehouse as both have Internet and LCPD cannot follow you up the Elevator. Once you have the Five Star Wanted Level either use the raise wanted level cheat (see Cheats in GTA IV) or rush up the elevator depending on how close the LCPD are to your position. If you chose to run up the elevator then activate the raise wanted once you arrive up to the floor. Once you enter the cheat your wanted level will be at six stars so now just stay up there and do whatever watch TV change your outfit but DO NOT SAVE until you get the One Man Army Achievement/Trophy. After waiting Five Real world minutes to get this achievement/trophy save your game once you get this Achievement/Trophy to erase your wanted level.
