Love's Disappearance is a mission in Grand Theft Auto III given to protagonist Claude by media tycoon and businessman Donald Love from the Love Media building in the Bedford Point district of Staunton Island, Liberty City.
Mission
Claude enters the Love Media building's roof. He notices nobody is there, and examines an empty chest. Claude leaves the place, and Donald and the Old Oriental Gentleman are never heard of again.
Trivia
- The mission serves as an ambiguous plot point, it never being picked up on again.
- This mission was supposed to be a mission given by deleted character Darkel wherein the player must fly a Dodo into the Love Media building to kill Donald Love. However, it was removed and replaced with this mission likely due to its extreme similarity with the 9/11 attacks, with the fact that Liberty City is based on New York City.
