Max Payne is a videogame series developed by Remedy Entertainment. The newest installment Max Payne 3 was developed by Rockstar Vancouver. In 2001 the first Max Payne game was released for Microsoft Windows and in 2002 it was released for Xbox, PlayStation 2, and Apple Macintosh; a special version of the game was also released for the Game Boy Advance in 2003. A PS2 Classics version was released on the Playstation Store in May of 2012, shortly before the release of Max Payne 3.
