"Big" Mitch Baker is a Vietnam veteran turned biker in GTA Vice City, earning a Purple Heart for killing a village full of Viet Cong. Vice City's cops mistreat veterans, which consequently led to innumerable clashes and 13 occasions of being jailed. He runs the local biker gang at The Greasy Chopper bar and is extremely loyal to his "family." Tommy Vercetti has to earn Baker's respect before he can get the gang to provide security for a Love Fist concert, which is most likely a reference to the disastrous Rolling Stones concert where the Hells Angels were hired to work security. Big Mitch occasionally calls into V-Rock, Vice City's rock-and-roll radio station, complaining of the fact that they play too many hair bands and not enough hard rock. When one switches the first letters of his name, one gets "Bitch Maker."
Mitch Baker has a tough, assertive and almost aggressive personality and attitude. After missions with Mitch Baker the player learns that Mitch Baker doesn't do a whole lot except mess around in the Greasy Chopper like arm wrestling, playing pool and playing arcade games. Baker sounds physically active at some points like where his bike was stolen by a local street gang and he says "Me and the boys were going to go down there and teach them a lesson, but then I got to thinking..."
