The Moonbeam as depicted in Grand Theft Auto III.

The Moonbeam is a four-door minivan that first appeared in Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories and Grand Theft Auto IV.

Overview

The Moonbeam's performance is competent, but that's all. It has no distinct advantages or disadvantages, and is average in every way. It is fairly slow, and although very controllable on regular roads, it has a tendency to flip on rough terrain. The vehicle is modelled after the 1985-1992 Chevrolet Astro.

In GTA IV, the Moonbeam (manufactured by Declasse) can be found in several different configurations, with a rear-mounted spare tire, elevated aero roof, and a custom billet grille that covers the headlamps all optional on the van. The GTA IV version is as slow and lacking in performance as ever. However the GTA IV Moonbeam has anti-lock breaks which can prove useful, especially when using button controls. The Moonbeam takes damage very easily and quickly. This vehicle is one of the cars Stevie requests for his car theft missions in GTA IV. It's also one of the Portland Island Import/Export vehicles in GTA III.

Value: The Moonbeam is worth 2,200 at Stevie's Garage, where you can bring the vehicle after you complete all of his Text Message Car missions. (GTA IV ONLY)
