The NRG-500 is the fastest bike in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
Description
The bike is based on Honda NSR500 as it was used by Valentino Rossi in the 2001 500 cc World Championship, hence the distinctive number 46 on the front and the very similar names (which would be an anachronism given the fact San Andreas is set in 1992). Since it's a racing bike, it also handles precisely. The NRG-500 can appear with one of three subtly different exhaust pipes and one of two different bodykits.
Also, it is the bike which starts the NRG-500 Challenge at Easter Basin Docks.
The NRG-500 is superseded by the NRG 900 in GTA IV.
Trivia
- Pronouncing the name for the bike makes out the word "energy".
Locations
- Blackfield, Las Venturas - In front of Bike School after getting gold on all tests. (Along with a Freeway)
- East Beach, Los Santos - On top of a carpark (with spiralling ramps).
- Easter Basin, San Fierro - Next to the containers at the docks. It starts the NRG-500 Challenge.
- Easter Bay International Airport, San Fierro - In between the two southern most hangars near the Maverick. (Appears randomly)
- It can also be stolen in one of the Las Venturas Street Races.
