North America is one of the seven traditional continents, and can be used to reference a varying number of countries. It is perhaps more widely used to refer to the countries of the United States of America, Canada, and sometimes Mexico.

The Grand Theft Auto games are first released in North America, despite being developed in Europe, or more specifically the United Kingdom.

Many of the Grand Theft Auto games are also set in America.
