Phil's Depot is an area in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. It is, as the name states, a depot owned by redneck arms dealer and so-called Vietnam veteran and gun expert Phil Cassidy. It is located in southeast Viceport, Vice City.
Events of GTA Vice City Stories
In 1984, the setting of GTA Vice City Stories, Cassidy lived in one of the houses in the compound. Cassidy gives Victor Vance missions from his depot. Phil's yellow Walton (without any cargo) along with his Perennial are parked in front of the depot.
Events of GTA Vice City
In 1986, the setting of GTA Vice City, Cassidy had since moved into his new compound and the area has fallen into disrepair with growth on the ground. In the beginning, Sonny Forelli had arranged a drug deal between his associates Tommy Vercetti, Ken Rosenberg, Harry and Lee; and the Vance Crime Family brothers Victor and Lance Vance. However, unknown to the two parties, Ricardo Diaz's hitmen were hidden behind the crates. They managed to ambush the deal and killed Victor, Harry, and Lee. The rest fleed but lost all their money and drugs. During the Print Works asset mission "Hit the Courier," this area was used by the counterfeit syndicate to bring counterfeit plates via helicopter into the city. A Rumpo is parked in the depot and a Mac-10 spawns next to it.
