ProLaps is a sportswear and sport equipment manufacturer which appears in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Grand Theft Auto IV.
Description
In GTA San Andreas, ProLaps is available as an accessible clothing store where the player can purchase various sporting outfits and accessories. Based on the real-life clothing brand Reebok, the store's motto is "Train Hard"; on many of ProLaps' "Train Hard" billboards in GTA San Andreas, however, an "S" is spray-painted in front of the "Train", revising the slogan as "Strain Hard".
In GTA Liberty City Stories, the Biker gang members in a couple of missions are seen wearing t-shirts with the ProLaps logo on them and an advertising billboard for the store is in Chinatown, Portland.
In Grand Theft Auto IV, ProLaps still exists though is not interactive to the player as a store; the game's rendition of ProLaps is depicted during The Ballad of Gay Tony with an expanded product line, including fighting gloves (as seen in "Momma's Boy"), parachutes, and golf carts. The ProLaps name also appears on a banner in the basement gym of the Angels of Death Clubhouse during "Action/Reaction" in The Lost and the Damned.
Clothing in GTA San Andreas
The range of outfits available at ProLaps stores in GTA San Andreas is as expected for a sporting outlet. The vast majority of items on sale are sports-related, including specialized accessories and attires, and uniforms for specific sporting teams based in San Andreas. Most items on offer at ProLaps are priced at a moderate-to-high amount to reflect their high-performance nature; notably, watches from ProLaps are significantly expensive and are the most pricey items in the store.
ProLaps is also the only store that offers motorcycle helmets (three types in total), all of which are listed under the "Hats" section; like other hats, the helmets are designed to be worn at all times but offer no extra protection to the player. The Pickelhaube-like "Helmut" in particular is compatible with the biker outfit set available at Victim.

Trivia
- The name Prolaps is a play on the word Prolapse, meaning to fall out of place. In this case following Rockstar's long line of sexual jokes, it is referring to the male and female genital region, or the area around the anus, also most likely excluding the heart.
- ProLap's shop attendant in GTA San Andreas is implied to be a homosexual. This is apparent based on the comments he gives the player such as, "You're welcome anytime, honey buns" or "We have a wide range of thongs, too".
- Gay Tony occasionally wears ProLaps sportswear instead of his typical business suit, specifically in the missions involving the diamonds where he is present (Frosting on the Cake/Diamonds in the Rough and Ladies Half Price/Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend).
- In Playboy X's room in his safehouse, you can see a shoe box purchased in ProLaps.
- Luis's fight club tee is manufactured by ProLaps.
