The Raindance is a medium-sized helicopter that is found in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Description

The Raindance is based on the Sikorsky S-70A, the civilian version of the famous UH-60A Blackhawk. It's livery is modeled on the Los Angeles County Fire Department's colors.

Despite its implied use by the San Andreas Fire Department, the Raindance is never seen flying around San Andreas or, in actuality, is used by the fire department. As an emergency vehicle, the helicopter is depicted with only a white, yellow and blue livery (unless the Black Traffic/Pink Traffic cheats are on, in which case, only the blue stripe is truly permanent as the cheats only affect vehicles' first two colors; which looks somewhat like the U.S. Customs and Border Protection livery). The Raindance is slower than the Maverick or Sparrow, but is the best handling helicopter in the game. The helicopter will only seat two, despite having room for more.

The Raindance is comparable to the Annihilator from Grand Theft Auto IV, which is based on the same real-life helicopter, but is equipped with additional weaponry and is actively used by the police.

Locations

The Raindance is available only after completing Learning to Fly.

• In Santa Maria Beach, south of the Santa Maria Beach Safehouse and west of the red marker where the player can begin the Beat The Cock triathlon.
• In Easter Bay International Airport, beside a Leviathan and the control tower.
• At the top of the San Fierro Medical Center in Santa Flora, next to a Maverick.
