Roman's Child refers to the unborn son of Roman Bellic and Mallorie Bardas, nephew to Niko Bellic, in Grand Theft Auto IV.
Selected names for this child are mentioned as Roman Jr and Kate, but the child is not born during the storyline of the game, so the final name is not known.
Mallorie is pregnant during her wedding in both endings, but is unaware at that time.
Name & Gender
In the Deal ending, Roman is inadvertently killed by an assassin who was sent by Dimitri Rascalov to assassinate Niko Bellic. After "A Revenger's Tragedy," Mallorie Bardas-Bellic later phones Niko saying that she is pregnant with a boy. Niko then says that the baby will never have to worry about anything. Mallorie replies saying that Roman Jr will struggle without a father.
After the Revenge ending, the gender of the baby is not revealed. After "Out of Commission," Niko receives a call from Roman talking about the baby. If the baby is a girl, they would name her Kate Bellic, after Niko's girlfriend Kate McReary who was killed by Jimmy Pegorino's attempt to assassinate Niko.
It could be assumed that the child would be a boy in both storylines, as the events of the last missions would not affect that, so it could be assumed that the child will become 'Roman Bellic Jr' when born. However, as the child is not born during the events of GTA IV, the final selected name can not be known.
