The Royal Stretch is an exclusive limousine featured in Grand Theft Auto: London, 1969, serving as a replacement of the Limousine in Grand Theft Auto 1. Despite its similar function as the Limousine, the Royal Stretch is apparently more rare given its association with the British royal family it is meant to transport. Similar to the the Limousine, the Royal Stretch performance may be considerably underwhelming due to its size and weight, contributing to poorer steering and speed.
The Royal Stretch is evidently based on a Rolls-Royce Phantom from the 1950s and 1960s, which, during the late-1960s, was a preferable choice as the British royal family's state limousine. However, limited details of the Royal Stretch means the car could be assumed to be based on any of three Rolls-Royce Phantoms manufactured during the decades, including the Phantom IV (1950–1956; 18 produced), Phantom V (1959–1968; 516 produced) and Phantom VI (1968-1991; 374 produced). The car is exclusively paint black.
