Description
Shoreside Vale, is the residential area in Grand Theft Auto III. It is generally more hilly and some what, more rural than the rest of the areas in the city. It has almost no commerce and little industry. It is the only part of the city located on the mainland, with the entire area attached to a large body of land that creeps towards the north of Portland Island.
Districts
Cedar Grove
A suburban area, controlled by the Colombian Cartels. It is home to some of the more wealthy residents of Liberty City and consists of lavish mansions with swimming pools and fast sports cars on the drive ways. Also lies in this area, is Donald Love's mansion, later taken over by Catalina.
Witchita Gardens
Housing projects, home to the Southside Hoods, consisting of the African-American Red Jacks and Purple Nines street gangs.
Pike Creek
An industrial district, consisting of a dam named Cochrane Dam, at the north-west.
Francis International
The only airport in the entire city. It features a structure based on the Los Angeles International's Theme Building.
