Once you reach the donut shop, '''DO NOT''' attack anyone from the military prior to entering the tank. Simply steal the Rhino without harming anyone, then drive away. It is very unlikely you can get killed inside the Rhino since it causes any vehicle to touch it to explode, without harming the Rhino. You can, however, get busted, so be alert. In order to increase your speed and get to the garage quicker, turn the gun on the Rhino backwards and fire. This will propel the tank in the opposite direction, thus increasing your speed. Once you reach the garage, it is mission complete.

Walkthrough

Brief

Cortez has a buyer who wants a tank, which is being taken with a military convoy to Fort Baxter Air Base and he wants Tommy to steal it and drive it to a lock-up in Little Haiti. Tommy drives to the convoy and steals the tank (which stops at a doughnut shop in Little Havana) and drives it to the lock-up before the tank self destructs.

The Mission

Once you reach the donut shop, DO NOT attack anyone from the military prior to entering the tank. If you do attack anyone, the entire army will attack you, and even if you use cheats, they will most likely reduce your health to zero before you have the opportunity to restore it.

Script

Juan Cortez: Diaz was pleased, and would like to meet you again.

Tommy Vercetti: Is that a good thing?

Juan Cortez: Of course! Although I'm starting to think that Diaz was responsible for our unfortunate loss...

Tommy Vercetti: What makes you say that?

Juan Cortez: One does not wave accusations at a man like Diaz - I'm merely thinking out loud...No matter. I have a proposal that you could profit from...

Tommy Vercetti: I don't have time to run more errands, Cortez.

Juan Cortez: I would have thought a man with such dangerous debts would be hungry for opportunities. Please, Tommy. At least hear me out.

Tommy Vercetti: Go on...

Juan Cortez: I have a buyer for a piece of military hardware being taken across town. Go pick it up for me...Once you get it, I want you to call me immediately. Then...

(Tommy drives to the convoy and steals the tank)

Soldiers "Convoy, HALT!" "Civillian, move away from the tank!"

Military Operator: Security protocol. Delta India Echo (DIE) triggered. Vehicle self-destruct initiated.

Reward

The reward for completing the mission is $2,000.
