Stretch
Overview
The Stretch has been around since the original Grand Theft Auto series, and has been included in every Grand Theft Auto game since. It is basically Grand Theft Auto's version of the limousine. The Stretch comes in somewhat limited color varieties: in Grand Theft Auto III, it is available in only black and white; in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, it is only available in only white, with the exception of a modified version used in 2 missions and the black version (unavailable to the player) used by Avery Carrington; while in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, it is available in only white, but can be modified. The Stretch is only used in a few missions; however when used, it has a very important purpose. It can be found driving on the streets, or parked in a certain spot. It is usually discoverable in more affluent areas, such as Starfish Island in Vice City; Calton Heights, Juniper Hill, Paradiso, and Palisades in San Fierro; Mulholland, Richman, and Rodeo in Los Santos; and The Strip and Prickle Pine in Las Venturas. Despite being a limousine, it is a 4 door, meaning it is only capable of carrying 4 passengers.
Design
While the Stretch is meant to emulate a more-or-less generic stretched limousine design, in San Andreas, it closely resembles the 1992 Lincoln Town Car limousine.
Performance
Being a large, multi-passenger vehicle with an extended drive axle due to its length, this vehicle is slow and lumbering despite its powerful V8 and rear-wheel drive. It is also difficult to maneuver through tight spaces and around corners at high speed. Its ability to absorb damage is also not particularly impressive, making the Stretch more of a specific-use vehicle, or status-grabber, and a generally poor choice for drive-bys or use as primary transportation.

- It can only be found in the Residential District.
- Parked on the opposite side of the stairs from the Infernus at Vercetti Estate in Vice City.

Trivia
- The band Love Fist from Vice City use a custom brown, shorter version of the Stretch that can be snatched after the Psycho Killer mission. This stretch sounds and feels supercharged, with improved acceleration, speed, and handling. The player is required to use this vehicle in the Love Fist missions Psycho Killer and Publicity Tour.
