Left- vs. Right-align

OK, this is really confusing me... how would I change this infobox to be left-aligned? I'd like to see if it looks any better, what with the new ads and all. --GuildKnight^Talk2me 03:53, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

The table class "infobox" is forcing the table to float right, since thats what all the infoboxes do. You need to override that carefully (I put the style before the class). The problem with this layout is that it squeezes the actual content (sentences) into a small gap between the infobox and the advert, which (on many monitors) could be so small that the text doesn't even show up there. With everything on the right, the advert simply pushes the infobox down, which is a pain in the neck but the only reasonable way we can fit content onto the page now. I've been in discussions about the appropriateness of intruding adverts into content like this, and forcing every wiki to use it, but to no avail.
