I want this article to be moved to the actual displayed name S.W.A.T. but before moving it do you think it's a good idea to move it or keep it the way it is?--spaceeinstein 05:51, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

As you can see here, the page was once called S.W.A.T., and Gboyers moved it to SWAT Tank, that it why I always check the history before moving a page. The reason for the move is because S.W.A.T. can also refer to SWAT (the actual type of law enforcement). I have made a mention of this in the disambig at the top of the Police article (where S.W.A.T. redirects). Biggest GTA Fan EverTalk 11:15, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
This page should be moved to S.W.A.T. (vehicle) instead of S.W.A.T or SWAT Tank. --DT-boy 12:11, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
I think the page should be moved to "S.W.A.T. (APC)" because the article mentions it is an APC rather than a tank. --Montybrady 09:03, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
And I think this page should stay the way it is because it is refferd to as a Swat Tank in the last mission of San Andreas. --Chimpso 03:59, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
Gboyers' move has actually resulted in confusion of the name. The navigation box for vehicles in the game erroneously referred to the vehicle as per the name coined by Gboyers, and initially, I was led to believe this IS the official name for months (until I read the WikiGTA article pointing to the contrary). The capitalization of "Tank", plus his preference against the use of parenthesis disambiguation has not helped matters either. - ZS 11:17, November 29, 2009 (UTC)
Just a note, the game does refer this vehicle as the "SWAT Tank" when you are given instructions to steal it and is referred as that many times. The name "S.W.A.T." only appears once and that is when you enter the vehicle.--Spaceeinstein 19:06, July 25, 2010 (UTC)
