There is a discrepancy with in-game naming for this body of water.  The glossy map insert that comes with the game (both PS2 and PC versions) lists Sherman Reservoir correctly as the enclosed body of water north of Sherman Dam.  This makes sense, since a reservoir, by definition, must be an enclosed body of water.  However, in the game itself, Sherman Reservoir shows up as the body of water south of Sherman Dam (probably just a design glitch).

This is only an issue because the body of water Carl Johnson jumps into after planting the explosives is south of Sherman Dam, and technically then not Sherman Reservoir.  However, anyone playing the game would say that Carl in fact does jump into Sherman Reservoir, because the game indicates such.  How should this be handled here?  I was going to mention the game glitch and leave the Events of GTA San Andreas heading intact, but was wondering if the section should be removed since, technically, the events do not take place here.  Thoughts? :I'm an inclusionist. That means that I think we should explain everything to our readers, even if it strictly isn't 100% accurate, so long as we specify what is accurate and what isn't. So explain that "The body of water below the Dam, to the south, is often incorrectly also called the Sherman Reservoir" and give that example, then perhaps speculate what that body of water should have been called (some river/estuary). Likewise on that mission page, explain that even though the game says it takes place in the S.R., it actually takes place in ___ . That way everyone finds out what they need to know, rather than us rewriting the game to be more correct. Storyline Relevance
