Impala Taxis?
This is kind of off-topic but do modern Chevrolet Impalas exist as taxis? I only see Dodge Caravans, Ford Crown Victorias and Mercury Grand Marquises as taxis. I don't think I've ever seen an Impala one but then again that is probably for variety.--Thescarydude 16:31, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- Not in New York atleast. The list of models approved for use is here, and includes the Chevy Malibu. The Prius is a popular model. Rockstar should really have made a Dilettante taxi. Hugo Stiglitz 01:08, December 30, 2009 (UTC)
Passenger
I can tell you that in San Andreas, you (the player) can never be a passenger in a cab. GTAA and LCS probably did this, too. I think it was until VCS that brought the feature from Vice City back.--Spaceeinstein 17:15, September 27, 2009 (UTC)
Mean Street Taxis
I added this location after seeing this image, which includes both a Taxi and a Cabbie outside the building. However I have checked there several times on the game and I have never seen the Taxi parked outside, only the Cabbie. Does anyone know whether the Taxi ever spawns there or whether somebody has parked it there before taking the picture? Christophee (talk) 15:20, 28 March 2011 (BST)
- I was the one who took the screenshot. I can't remember if the Taxi was there or not. If needed I can take another capture of it. --Gta-mysteries Talk 05:56, 29 March 2011 (BST)
- I think the picture is fine either way, I was just wondering whether that was an actual spawn point for the vehicle on the game. As I didn't see it there at all the several times I checked yesterday, I have removed it from the GTA III section. Christophee (talk) 13:40, 29 March 2011 (BST)
