:It's "Fail Conditions"... there's probably a better term, but I couldn't think of one.  One word would be best, so that readers could tell that it's one section... or perhaps lines to define separate each section?  --GuildKnightTalk2me 00:01, 30 November 2008 (UTC)

::How about Failed If:? That might fit on one line (we could at least test it). ::EDIT: Actually, that would mean we would have to go around changing a whole lot of stuff. For example, most pages use Player Death for fail conditions. We couldn't have: Failed If: Player Death, it just doesn't work (in terms of English). We have to think of something though. I'm working on it. ==Character Encounterings?==
Could there possibly be a column showing the characters encountered through the missions? It would be easier to see who is involved in the mission, primary target ect. Montario 13:05, 27 July 2011 (BST)
Mission navigation
Hi! I'm new to the wiki, and I thought I could suggest a few ideas to improve it. This is one: the mission infobox navigation. I think it'd be easier to navigate through missions if, instead of the "Unlocks" and "Unlocked by" labels, there was a navigation box on top of the page. It'd just be a rectangular box with the name of the previous mission on the left and the next mission in the right. Something like this:
<div style="border: 1px solid black; padding: .5em 1em; background-color:transparent; margin: 3px 3px 0"><div class="plainlinksneverexpand" style="float: left; margin-left: 10px;">← The Cousins Bellic</div><div class="plainlinksneverexpand" style="float: right; margin-left: 10px;">Three's a Crowd →</div><center>It's Your Call</center></div>
By implementing it into the infobox, we don't have to change any page. Just the template. It's be always positioned on top (covering all the width) and, below, the text and infobox (in the right, obviously). What do you think? It'd look better too. --NikoIV (talk) 22:41, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
:Welcome to GTW, NikoIV. That's a good idea, but I don't think GTA games are as linear as that. It's not always the case that one mission leads directly to the next. Some unlock multiple missions, some don't unlock any, others unlock things such as areas and vehicles rather than missions. I think it would be good to have a better display of the progression of a game,  perhaps using a mission 'map' rather than a linear previous/next table? What do you think? ::Since GTA III, the majority of GTA missions is very linear (I consider splits leading to recombinations also linear). :::I guess it's true that not all missions lead to others, but one thing I found annoying while navigating missions for GTA VC is that some missions didn't have an "unlocked by" mission, so I had to look for the mission myself instead of having a link. I think every mission should link to some preceding or following mission, regardless of weather it is unlocked by/unlocks one or not. By the way, multiple lines is something I was gonna suggest too. At the bottom of the infobox, it would say "Walkthrough" and, below, "Script" (both centered). But we'll have to create a walkthrough and script page for every mission of every game, which I think would be great for the wiki. I can help. --NikoIV (talk) 14:50, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

Colons

Is there a way to add colons or something similar to the parameters? So that instead of "Location Los Santos" it would say "Location: Los Santos." --GuildKnight 03:08, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Nevermind - I got it. --GuildKnightTalk2me 03:12, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Conditions

Can you explain the conditions row in this template? Gboyers talk 17:33, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to GTW, NikoIV. That's a good idea, but I don't think GTA games are as linear as that. It's not always the case that one mission leads directly to the next.
