The Monoglobe
The Monoglobe is a giant sculpture of the world in Meadows Park, Dukes, Liberty City, in Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. It is based on the Unisphere sculpture in Queens' Flushing Meadows Park in New York City. The Monoglobe was built for the Liberty City World Fair and was not taken down since.
During "Departure Time," the last cut scene of The Ballad of Gay Tony takes place here and focuses on the globe during the beginning of the Credits.
In GTA Chinatown Wars, Huang Lee destroyed the Monoglobe during "Double Trouble" on orders from Lester Leroc in with the intention of eliminating members of the Lost. The Monoglobe spun off of its stand and crashed into a nearby building, destroying it.
