Tyler Dixon, also known as Ty-Di in the media, is a character in the HD Universe who is mentioned in Grand Theft Auto IV and appears as a minor character in Grand Theft Auto V. He is voiced by John Palladino.

Character history

Tyler Dixon was born in Dukes, Liberty City in 1983. He was arrested in 1998 for possessing crack cocaine, in 2001 for possessing a controlled substance with intent to supply and in 2004 for assault. His drug addiction is believed to have started smoking PCP at the age of five while another rumour states that he lost his virginity to his mother at the age 9. He finds employment as a back up dancer and becomes engaged to Cloe Parker and according to the "Aisle Have Some of That" Liberty Tree article, Cleo bought him a sperm whale. He then demanded a $3 million dowry after being given a 900-page pre-nup. The two married but later split up and, in 2013, was about to start filming season two of his own reality television show called 'Tyler's World' having moved to a large house in Rockford Hills, Los Santos where he had started another relationship. Later that year Trevor Philips breaks into Dixon's back yard and steals his clothes for Mrs. Thornhill and Nigel.

• Tyler's police profile states that he has 'violent tendencies' but, when noticing Trevor Philips in his back garden, phones the police.
• The player can kill Tyler during Vinewood Souvenirs - Tyler although a subsequent bleet shows that Tyler is intended to survive the mission.
• Tyler Dixon is based on Kevin Federline who, like Tyler, was a back up dancer before getting married to a celebrity in an ill-fated marriage.
