==== The Valley ====

Los Angeles County is the county of LA, located in valleys.
===== Secession =====
In 2002, the San Fernando Valley tried to secede itself from LA, but failed to do so. When you ask Mert, he says "Was there something wrong with sharing LA with the valley? I heard it was because they were giving more money to LA than obtaining it from the city."
===== Transportation =====
The player can take the Orange Line anywhere from North Hollywood to Pierce College. There is no other line in the San Fernando Valley, other than Metro Buses, except that they don't exist in the game.
Other than that, the I-405 and the I-118 are open to quickly go somewhere.
===== Crescenta Valley blockade =====
In 2006, an attempted murder of Stephen was foiled when the Foothill Freeway, roads, and anywhere giving access to the valley caved in from earthquakes from the explosions. In LA County Stories, the valley is accessible at all times. Seth will drill a hole in rock that will connect the player to the valley.
===== RFASH =====
A police orginization ('''Relentless Force Against Street Hoodlums'''), is a parody of the real-life C.R.A.S.H., and attempt to arrest people who are causing crimes to ruin gangs or orginazations. Stephen and Jeremy are examples.

Mert is a character in GTA L.A. County, and made a minor appearance in L.A. County Stories.
==== In L.A. County ====
In 2009, Mert is 14 years old, and is the partner of Stephen. He helps him in the development of the Underground Burbank Blvd Passage to attack Mert XII.
He is depicted as very short, with a pink hat and thin body. He has the same knowledge as Stephen. In the final mission, he is flying alongside an enemy chopper, and tells Stephen to use the mounted turret on the car he's riding in. He eventually rams the helicopter off the freeway, and he flies away. He is later seen at Stephen's house, surrounded by police helicopters and S.W.A.T. troops.
==== In L.A. County Stories ====
Mert makes minor appearances, but does not seem to be a major character. The only interaction you have with him is to get some money by demolishing certain buildings for real estate. A terminal of his can be accessed with ten entries; 6 of them being corrupt.
First entry:
"1-14-09
Stephen won't shut up about this damn girl he likes. I've also noticed my budget for my company is getting low. I need to resort to something to get it back up. I hope I won't have to go illegal... no... not something like that... something HAS to happen that will get the budget up."
Second entry:
"1-27-09
I passed by this guy. He said if I was having budget trouble, I should talk to him. I have to go and see what he has to offer.
UPDATE: This guy wants me to destroy other buildings illegally for real estate! He says due to other companies not really giving a damn about my budget, I can't really get it up any other way quickly, and that this is the quickest way. Maybe I might... but what will Stephen think of me? It just HAD to go this way..."
Third entry:
"2-26-06
I cannot come back after I cause the destruction of buildings without proper permission from authorities. After I do this tedious and nerve-wracking task, I must fly off somewhere in my helicopter. I plan to fly off to the state of Nevada, and hide out in my cabin that I built myself.
Stephen, goodbye for I don't know how long. I know 6th grade is awesome for you, and you refused to do anything illegal. My friend... my best friend... the only guy I know with a heart as big as the Brooklyn Bridge, and is never mean to anyone."
In the last entry, he is stressed and scared to death, and writes to his terminal with a wireless device (according to the story in the manual.) With his sanity lost for a while, he writes this:
"2-27-06
hahahahahaha
ivefinallydidit

He is never seen again after this, and the entries can still be viewed. Another red Raindance can be found on top of a cabin far out in the north of the valley. It can't be entered, though. It is not canon that it's Mert's helicopter, but it is similar, and it being by a cabin could be proof that it IS his helicopter. However, it is not located in Nevada, but it might be an easter egg that tells what the scene would look like there.

Info

Game Series

Pokémon

199?

  • Played some games, but not that much. Loved Hey You Pikachu when I was about 5.

2005

This is when I started to like the series. I didn't know much about it until I knew all the Pokémon. I started gaining knowledge, slowly.

2006

In this year, I loved Pokémon more than any other series. I started gaining knowledge quickly, and eventually became an ace at the games (trust me, I know almost every strategy there is.) I started getting into technical details about the games in the middle of '06.

2007-present

I still love the games, but I play some other games a bit more than Pokémon, but nonetheless I love the games till no end.

Sonic

2003-present

Loved some good ones. Never played the originals until I got a Genesis, and then learned about emulators.

Present

Love the originals, and I don't love the ones that are crappy. I think they're getting back on their feet with the 2D game they're going to release in '10.

GTA

File:Police helicopter (GTA3) (side).jpg
The chopper I dream to fly in GTA III.

GTA III

Got it this year in the trilogy. Turns out that I'm so paranoid about flying a chopper that I can't stop having dreams.

Vice City

My sister got it, and barely got through it. Me and my little brother eventually owned the game.

San Andreas

First rented it in '05 and then got it this year in the trilogy. Is one of my favorites.

Liberty City Stories

Got it recently, and love it.

Saving the Maverick in False Idols

Land it by the garage and push it in as far as you can, but keep it on one side of the garage, now push the tail so the helicopter is facing in a diagonal direction. Now let the garage close. It's possible to get it out, but it requires patience. And I'll tell you!

Getting it out of the garage

You'll think that it's all lost in the position it's in. It isn't, and you can do it if you have three things: patience, the will to do it over again, and balls:

It's best to get behind the tail and push it so the tail is facing straight out of the garage, while the helicopter is close to one side. Now get a vehicle (a Sentinel or Idaho will do), and push the front so that it's pushing towards the wall.

Now here's the part I hate. You have to push the area where the tail and body meet. Why is it hard? Because pushing there pushes the helicopter harshly, and doing it wrong can tip it over, and you'll be at square one:

Push the sensitive area carefully. If you do it right, the tail will hit the wall, and it will push out a bit. Keep pushing the front and hitting the sensitive area easily, eventually, it will get out. Now use the square and X trick to position the car to push the front out. The helicopter will try to turn a different direction. You will need to get out and push it back into a straight position often. From here, push it until it is out of the garage. Now you can fly it around.

If I could record getting it out of the garage, I would. Turns out I have no camera to do so.

GTA IV

Got it in Christmas of '08, and I loved it a lot.

Chinatown Wars

My grandma bought it for me, and I take it with me a lot. The only thing I hate about it is that everyone has "Alchemist" on in their vehicles.

GTA Trivia that I know (and some other people)

Did you know...

  • That in San Andreas, did you know that if you kill somebody in a locked vehicle at the lowrider meet, you can steal it, and getting out and closing the door will lock it again?
  • That in GTA IV, pressing down on the Right Stick (X360) in a fixed cinematic view will lock it at that view unless you change it?
  • That the maximum speed in the chopper in GTA III is 140.0 kh/m?
  • That the inaccessible tunnel in Shoreside Vale leads to an unused area of the tunnel?
  • That the blue hell in GTA IV can be accessed by a non-solid part of Rotterdam Tower?
  • That the pipes with emanating fire in Acter Industrial Park can damage a helicopter?
  • That the Police Helicopter in GTA III and the one that chases the player in Vice City is the same chopper, but is not the controllable Police Maverick?
  • That there are solid parts on tall buildings in Vice City?
  • That the reason the helicopter can't fly so high in Vice City is because the graphics in the background will clip?
  • That the Maverick in Liberty City Stories uses the rotor blades of an AI-controlled Police Maverick?
  • That the Police Maverick and News Chopper can be jacked at the diagonally-angled pylons near the Sherman Dam?
  • That Brucie will flee his chopper if you throw it around with another one?
  • That the Maverick in False Idols is locked in the PSP version?
