Wrong Side of the Tracks is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas given to protagonist Carl "CJ" Johnson by secondary antagonist and high-ranking Grove Street Families member Melvin "Big Smoke" Harris, under inspiration from the primarily antagonistic C.R.A.S.H. team, from his house in Idlewood, Los Santos.

I know your talk page says that you aren't taking part in discussions, but I feel that I should ask you this question since I see  you online more than any of the members of staff.
Mission
Carl visits Smoke after some time, where again, C.R.A.S.H. officers Frank Tenpenny and Eddie Pulaski are seen leaving the house, this time from the garage, where Smoke is also seen. Carl has a brief argument with the two and then turns to Smoke, who asks him for help to drive him to Unity Station.

I've been going around and doing some maintenance on some of the mission pages (mostly fixing the YouTube video links), but I have been wondering, should vehicle mission/odd-job pages (such as Patriot Playground) have mission infoboxes? If so, should a "Time limit" tag be added to the mission infobox template to show the time limit if applicable? Let me know. Thanks! Alleypuppy (talk|edits) 18:48, 15 December 2013 (GMT)
Once there, Carl and Smoke proceed, on the latter's instructions, to witness a meeting between the Los Santos Vagos and the San Fierro Rifa. Feeling cheated as the meeting gets over, Smoke asks Carl to help him chase and cap down the Vagos, which they do with the help of a Sanchez parked nearby. Finally, they manage to kill the Vagos, and Carl drives Smoke back to Idlewood, wherein, on the way back, they have a conversation about the drug problem in the city.

Thanks for your reply! I feel that those would be great additions to the mission infobox. Special vehicles is something that I have not thought about, but could be very useful. I see that User:gboyers has already updated the infobox with these suggestions (Thanks!). I'll let you know if I have any more suggestions. Sorry to keep bothering you on here, but I have a question. Is it possible for you to rename an image? I would like for it to be named PoliceBuffalo-GTAV-Rear.jpg.

I'll gladly do what I can. It's kinda tough with everything geared towards GTA V, it's not always easy to add mention to GTA Online. New things like the content updates are easier because they're tailored towards GTA Online first. Is there any way you can somehow count your adding categories to all the pictures as a minor edit? You're taking up pages and pages of the Recent Edits with this nonsense and if it continues there's going to be hundreds of pages to scroll through to find any of the edits that are more important. Hi. I see you are also working on scripts and I need some input on something. I am working an unused dialogue page and was wondering if they should have a place in their respective pages? Either this or one page for all of it but that would be a very long page. --Gta-mysteries 01:56, 7 October 2014 (BST)

:I have just went through the recent edits and seen you want to make sub-categories for scripts. Good idea but I think the categories should be named something different such as "Scripts for GTA San Andreas" or something like that. --Gta-mysteries 05:28, 17 April 2015 (BST)

Hi A-Dust,
Big Smoke: Ae, ae, don't ask a wise man, friend, ask a fool!

This isn't exactly a GTA-related question, but is it possible for me to change my username on this site? I couldn't find anything about it in the help files. I'd prefer not to make a new account as I'd like to preserve my contribution history.
CJ: That's what I was doing.
I asked this question on gboyers's page a little while back, but it seems he hasn't been active recently.

Make your way to Unity Station with Smoke. When you get there, some Los Santos Vagos members will hop on the top of the train as it rides off. Quickly, jump on the Sanchez provided for you. Chase the train and ride up next to it and Smoke will start to shoot the gang members. Make sure all the gang members are killed before they reach the Frederick Bridge. After they are all dead, drive Smoke back to Los Santos and the mission will be complete.

Trivia
* In the beta, the mission was supposedly to grab a package after the Los Santos Vagos are killed but it was cut before release. The same way, the beat had dialogue about Carl questioning Smoke over the package, which would have almost exposed his betrayal.
* Oddly, in the mission Local Liquor Store, Carl complains about Catalina shooting so close to his ear, but he doesn't do it to Smoke, presumably as he is closer to Smoke and the fact that Smoke generally aims the gun higher, limiting the noise.
* The name of the mission may be based on the phrase "the wrong side of the tracks", meaning a poor area of a city.
* If the player abandons the Sanchez after killing the Vagos, it will still appear in the mission's final cutscene.
* This mission is infamous among gamers for being extremely difficult. Smoke's mission failure line "All we had to do was follow the damn train, CJ!" has become a bit of an Internet meme as a result. In the popular video game Minecraft exists a splash screen which says "Follow the train, CJ!".
